Oakland is a display font inspired by Oakland Cemetery. The letterforms draw from the blocky, sans-serif signage on the west gate entrance, constructed in 1896. One of our favorite places in Atlanta, the cemetery was originally founded in 1849, and is home to abundant gardens and thousands of century-old headstones, statues and mausoleums. The font character set includes all capitals, numbers and limited punctuation. Recommended for headlines, subheads and short statements.
